Geographe Bay Road Busselton

This project was a large scale renovation completed in June 2020. Our clients brief was to create a classic, high end Australian beach home maximising the ocean views of the property, use an abundance of natural light, keep the natural contours of the block and all existing trees.

A combination of double brick, brick veneer, reverse brick veneer and timber frame construction was utilised. This home has a unique skillion roof design. The external cladding combination of linea weatherboards and texture elevates the modern façade for that crisp coastal feeling. You’ll notice a unique garage design with two single garage doors and a stunning peppermint tree perfectly centred to the exposed aggregate driveway.

Floor to ceiling glass windows featured in the living room allow for the uninterrupted breath-taking views of Geographe bay but also an abundance of natural light. Bi-folding doors open onto a large entertaining alfresco.

Upon entry, a large feature wall finished in a striking monument finish creates a statement and emphasises the height of the raking ceiling. This feature wall balances with the feature pendant lighting and Caesarstone Empira White stone bench tops in the kitchen to create a lasting impression. The owners wanted to pay tribute to the existing home and reuse the original floorboards. You’ll find new Jarrah flooring to the entry and living areas with recycled floorboards to the hallways and bedrooms.

The features in this home continue with custom made Polytec Thermolaminated Cabinetry, Franke sinks and tapwear, Argent and Villeroy & Boch tapwear, Siema basins and Fisher and Paykel Appliances.
